Chicago O’hare International Airport
Chicago O’hare International Airport (IATA :ORD) as mentioned in the name is an international airport which is based at the Northwest side of Illinois, Chicago which is under the operation of Chicago Department of Aviation. - Terminal 3 has four concourses comprising lettered G,H,K,L and includes 79 gates under it.
- Terminal 5 has only one concourse lettered M and includes 21 gates under it.
Terminal1-3 are the airside of interconnecting flights whereas Terminal 5 is different and is Separated from other terminals as it has taxiways that cross over the airport’s access road, requiring passengers to exit security, ride a shuttle bus, and then re–clear security before boarding. United Airlines provides their operation from four United Club and Polaris from Terminal 1 and 2.
American Airlines operates three Admiral Clubs which are at Terminal 3 which also includes Flagship lounge. Terminal 2 has Sky Club which is allocated to Delta and Terminal 5 is for various other foreign flights and carrier lounges such as British Airways , KLM, Air France, Korean Air, SAS and Swiss.
One can get to the airport by using the (CTA) Chicago Transit Authority through Blue Line and the Metra commuter train service. There are shuttle buses available as well that go to and fro from the airport. You can also opt to travel with your own vehicle, taxi or rideshare.
Chicago Midway international Airport
Chicago Midway International Airport (IATA: MDW) popularly known as Chicago Midway is located at the Southwest of Chicago, Illinois. Regarded as one of the busiest airports of the US and ranked as the second busiest airport in the city of Chicago. It is also the base for Southwest Airlines as they provide services to more than 95% of the passengers of the airport. The name is given to the airport as a tribute of honour to the Battle of Midway. Some of the main airlines serving at the airport are Allegiant, Delta, Porter, Southwest and Volaris which provide their services for both national and international flights. The airport has three concourses and gives passage to 43 aircrafts.

To access the airport one can use the Chicago’s Transit Authority’s Orange Line Transport system with trains for those who are travelling from downtown of Chicago And there are different routes of buses as well such as CTA buses, Pace buses, Shuttle and Regional buses. Chicago DuPage County Airport (IATA: DPA) is an airport of general aviation and it is located in DuPage county, Illinois and is 27 miles west of downtown Chicago which is West Chicago. The airport is operated and owned by the Dupage Airport Authority which is a government body runned independently.
It is established by the State of Illinois and by law. Many flights are operated and provide their service from here and they are also the hub for them. The utmost facilities and the services provided there makes it the most opted and preferable by tourists and travellers for business purposes.
