Aeromexico is officially regarded as Aerovias de Mexico. S.A. de C.V. is the main airline carrier of Mexico. It is founded on 14 September 1934. It has its headquarter at Torre Mapfre, Mexico City, Mexico. Their main hub is in Mexico City, Mexico, and secondary hubs are in Guadalajara and Monterrey. Aeromexico Infant Policy
If you are traveling with an infant, you need to inform the airline while or after your Aeromexico Airlines Reservations booking. An infant under 2 years of age can fly given that the infant is accompanied by an adult. Only 1 infant is allowed to be carried by an adult on its lap. If one adult passenger is to have two infants, you need to book one extra seat with a proper holder for the infant.
Please keep in mind that any person who is 2 years and above has to book a ticket. Passengers are requested not to forget their certificate to prove that the infant is indeed under 2 years of age.

10% of an adult fare for a flight to/from S.America, Europe, and Asia
On top of this, there will be an infant service charge of 15 USD.
Aeromexico Unaccompanied Minor
Minors who are under 5-13 years of age traveling alone are given service to accompany the minor, making sure that he/she is traveling safe and sound without an adult. Such service is compulsory to be given to children aged 5-13 who are traveling without a person who is at least 18 years old. Children between 14-18 years of age can also opt for such service so check at the time of Aeromexico Airlines Reservations booking.
The unaccompanied minors should be dropped at the departing airport and should be attended till her/his flight takes off. And the minor should have the information like phone number, address, full name, etc. of the person who is going to pick him/her up upon arriving. The airline will take care of him in connecting flight if there is any.
Unaccompanied children are requested to be in the airport 2 ½ hours before departure for paperwork and to avoid complications.

Aeromexico Unaccompanied Minor Fee Structure
Fee structure:
-Domestic flights- 600 MXN including tax
-International flights except To/From United States- 150 USD for each child regardless of the number of PNR
-To/From United States- 150 USD for up to four unaccompanied minors provided that they are all booked in one PNR.
Aeromexico Flight Change Policy
Aeromexico allows free changes 24 hours within booking regardless of your fare type i.e., refundable or non-refundable. Passengers are allowed to make changes in dates, time, meals, seats, etc. provided that it is under 24 hours free Aeromexico Flight Change Policy period after booking.
Tickets can be changed only if it is booked directly with the airline or from the Aeromexico Airlines Official Website or app. Changes cannot be made if your Aeromexico Airlines Reservations through a third party.
If passengers have to make changes due to extenuating circumstances like a death in a family, medical issue, government order, judicial orders, etc., a change fee may be waived off provided that the necessary documents in question are given by the passenger.
Passengers are requested to make the necessary changes until 2 hours before departure because once you are marked as a no-show, there is not changes allowed and there is no refund for it either.
Any changes made after the 24 hours free changes period will incur a change fee and fare difference if any. If your original booking fare is lower than the new changed booking, you shall pay the fare difference along with the change fee according to your fare rules.

Aeromexico Cancellation Policy
Aeromexico allows free cancellation for 24 hours within booking regardless of fare rules give that it is 7 days or more away from the departure date. If you follow this, you will be eligible to get a full refund as per the Aeromexico Cancellation Policy of ticket booking.
Anyone who canceled it after 24 hours from booking will not be eligible to get a full refund. There will be a cancellation fee of 200 USD for every refund request made after 24 hours of booking. Please be informed that this 24 hours cancellation policy doesn’t apply to Basic and Value fares, group fares, and also on tickets booked through miles.
If the airline delays or cancels your Aeromexico Airlines Reservations or flight for any reason like technical errors, bad weather, operational failures, government influence, etc., you will be given an alternative to fly another time and it will be up to the you to accept or reject. One can choose to cancel and accept compensation instead for the flight he didn’t take.
If any passengers have to cancel due to extenuating circumstances like a death in a family, judicial orders, medical issues, government orders, etc., the particular change fee may be waived off given that the necessary documents are given by the passenger upon asking by the airline.

Aeromexico Pet Policy
If you have a pet you would like to take with you inflight, you need to inform and get permission from the airline. There are limited seats for pets, so it’s best if you contact them as soon as your Aeromexico Airlines Reservations booking is confirmed.
Only 1 pet is allowed per passenger. And the pet should be with the owner at all times.
Passengers are allowed to take small dogs or cats in the economy cabin so long as the journey is lesser than 6 hours. Also, the weight of your pet should not exceed 9kg except for guide animal and emotional support pets. The pet carrier should not exceed 50/40/26cm.
Pets like fish, rodents, reptiles, etc. will have to be checked instead of carrying in the cabin. And the checked-in pet should not be heavier than 45kg including the cage or carrier. Here, it will be charged according to the weight and carrier.
If at all you are carrying a bird, you need a certificate from, an animal expert stating that it is safe and healthy.
