If you are traveling with an infant, you need to inform the airline while or after booking. Infants as old as 2 days are allowed however an infant younger than 7 days old are required to bring a certificate which says that the infant is fit to fly. Only one infant is allowed to be carried on the lap of an adult who is at least 16 years of age. If passengers want to buy a separate seat for the infant, he/she can do so by buying a child seat provided that a proper holder for the infant is there.
