Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Silver Airways was founded in 2011 and currently serves 28 destinations across the United States, Bahamas and the Caribbean. The airline has a total fleet strength of 21 consisting of ATR 42-600, ATR 72-600, SAAB 340 and The Seaplane. 

The company is under the Versa Capital Management LLC and in 2018 acquired Seaborne Airlines to give customers a chance of getting more access into the Caribbean. Check in

For convenient and easy check-ins Silver Airways recommends its passengers to have online check-in done for free to avoid lines and congestion. Online and mobile check-in option is available to passengers up to two hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. Passengers can log on to the official Silver Airways Website at www.silverairways.com to check-in or download the mobile app via Play store or App store for Android or iOS respectively to avail mobile check-in facilities. All mobile, website and airport check-in provided by Silver Airways are free.

Silver Airways Refund Policy

At Silver Airways passenger are given an option to book from three type of fare tickets that provides passengers with various perk and benefits. The different types of fares with their perks have been explained in the table given below:

Refund Protection

REFUND PROTECTION:  If passengers wish to avail refund benefits for any uncertain trips for any fare ticket they can choose to avail Silver Airways Refund Protection where for just $49. Under Refund Protection the $49 one-way trip benefit affords passengers an easy refund if you cancel up to 7 days prior to the flight’s scheduled departure.  This benefit is only exclusively available on SilverAirways.com. 

  • Refund Protection in non-refundable

  • Refund Protection can only be applied on new reservations. 

  • Refund Protection also effectively waives change fees and charges for non-refundable tickets.

  • Refund Protection cannot be availed if there are less than 7 days left before the flights scheduled departure.

  • For refund related query or process, passengers can contact customer service at 801-401-9100 between 6AM and 9PM EST.

Booking Charges

Booking related charges are not charged when reservations/bookings are made online. A $25 call centre and airport charge is levied when reservations are made via call or at the airport.

While making changes to existing reservations, differences in new fare booking along with Change fares are levied as below:

Cancellation Charges

The following cancellation charges are applicable if cancellations are to be made at least 24 hours prior to the flight’s scheduled departure.

Silver Airways Baggage Policy

Each passenger is allowed by Silver Airways One Personal Item and One Carry-on bag free of cost. Passengers must make sure that the personal item can fit easily under the seat or an overhead cabin. 

All Checked baggage are charged per bag, per passenger and for one way only. Checked Baggage are allowed to be a maximum weight of 50 pounds/ 23 kilos per bag with a max dimension of 62 inches/157 cms per bag.

All checked in baggage services availed at the airport will incur an additional fee of $5.
