Royal Jordanian Airlines Infant Policy
If you are traveling with an infant, you need to inform the airline while or after booking to make a request. Only one infant is allowed to be carried on the lap of an adult or a person who is at least 18 years of age. If one adult passenger is to have two infants, you need to book one extra child seat with a proper holder for the infant. And an infant flight fare is 10% of adult fare plus taxes and charges. Please keep in mind that any person who is 2 years and above has to book a ticket. Please do remember to bring a certificate to prove the age of the infant at time of booking Royal Jordanian Reservations and in your journey.
For an infant/child aged 6-36 months you can buy a space or seat to attach their car seat base on availability. It follows the concept of first come first serve. If you don’t find enough information on an infant according to your needs, you may contact the airline directly.

Royal Jordanian Airlines Change Policy
Royal Jordanian Airlines Change Policy allows free changes 24 hours within booking regardless of your fare type i.e., refundable or non-refundable. Do keep in mind that changes can be made in the way it was booked. For instance, if you booked online, changes have to be made online, if you booked through a third party, changes have to be made through that third party, and if you booked with the airline directly, changes have to be made with the airline themselves. Passengers are allowed to make changes in Royal Jordanian Reservations dates, time, meals, seats, etc. provided that it is under 24 hours free change period after booking. Also, please do keep in mind that you can make date changes in a ticket only for a year from the ticket issuance date. And if you fail to make a change before departure your ticket will be marked as a no-show and therefore, it is not eligible for a change or cancellation with refund/credit.
If passengers have to make changes due to extenuating circumstances like a death in a family, medical issue, judicial order, government order, etc., a change fee may be waived off provided that the necessary documents in question are given by the passenger.
Any changes made after the 24 hours free changes period will incur a change fee and fare difference if any. If your original booking fare is lower than the new changed booking, you shall pay the fare difference along with the change fee according to your fare rules. Here, you can ask for a 5% discount on the overall fare.
When it comes to name change or correction, Royal Jordanian Airlines allows minor name correction, for example, spelling correction but the airline doesn’t allow for a total name change. And name correction has to be made 24 hours within booking for free of charge, if it’s more than 24 hours, you may be charged a penalty to correct a name. In certain cases, the airline allows the transfer of ticket to a family member. It is best to call the ticket center of the airline for most information and the best solution.
Royal Jordanian Airlines Cancellation Policy
Royal Jordanian Airlines provides free cancellation for 24 hours within booking regardless of fare rules. It doesn’t matter whether it is a refundable or non-refundable booking, as long as you fall under the free cancellation time frame, you are entitled to cancelation without any charge.
However, please be informed that a passenger is not eligible for a refund if his/her ticket is booked through a third party.
If you cancel after 24 hours after booking, there will be a cancellation penalty charged to you. And if your booking is of refundable type, your remaining value of the booking will be refunded to you after deducting the cancellation fee. However, if your booking is of non-refundable type, your value of the booking will be forfeited and you shall not get a refund.
If you fail to cancel your ticket before departure, you will not be eligible for a refund regardless of your fare type. You will be marked as a no-show. Also, if you cancel it 24 hours before departure, you will not get a refund even if your ticket is refundable.

You can cancel your reservation on the Royal Jordanian Official Site, app, airline or through a third party
-Log in and go to “My Trip”/”My Booking”
-Select the booking you want to cancel
-Press on cancellation
-Confirm the cancellation from the pop–up message by clicking “Yes”
-After your trip is canceled, claim your refund if eligible
If you are eligible for a refund, you will be refunded in 7-30 business days on the account with which you paid for the booking. Passengers who made payment by cash or check will be contacted by the airline to give an option of refund method.

Royal Jordanian Airlines Baggage Policy
If you have a pet you would like to take with you inflight, you need to inform and get permission from the airline. There are limited seats for pets, so it’s best if you contact them as soon as your Royal Jordanian Booking is confirmed.
Passengers are allowed to take small dogs or cats in the economy cabin so long as the journey is lesser than 5 hours. Also, the weight of your pet should not exceed 7kg. The pet carrier should not exceed 50/40/26cm. Confirm all these things at the time of booking your Royal Jordanian Reservations for your journey.
To carry a pet, the price will be double the amount of excess bags. It will come around $90-$180 depending on your destination.
Pet animals that are heavier than 7kg will go as checked-in bags instead of a cabin. Here, there is no size and weight limit but it will be charged according to the weight and carrier.
Falcon will be charged three times more than the normal rate of excess bags.
