Aer Lingus which means air fleet is founded on 15 April 1936 by Irish government but was eventually privatized in 2005-2006. It is solely owned by International Airlines Group (IAG) now. It is known to be the flag carrier of Ireland headquartered at Dublin Airport in Cloghran, County Dublin. It is operating in 93 destinations with 54 fleets and It has its focus cities as:

Aer Lingus Infant Policy
If you are traveling with an infant, you need to inform the airline while or after booking. Only 1 infant is allowed to be carried by an adult on its lap.
An infant under 2 years of age can fly given that the infant is accompanied by a person who is at least 15 years of age. An infant flight fare is 10% of adult fare plus taxes and charges. Please keep in mind that any person who is 2 years and above has to book a ticket.
Passengers are requested not to forget their certificate to prove that the infant is indeed under 2 years of age.
Aer Lingus Unaccompanied Minor service
Aer Lingus doesn’t allow children under 12 years old to travel alone. And child under 14 years of age are not allowed to travel alone if the flight is do depart from Italy.
However, Children aged 12-15 are allowed to travel unaccompanied in normal routes. The airline just needs a form to be filled by the parents or guardians.
Aer Lingus Change Policy
Aer Lingus allows changes to be made in the way it was booked. For instance, if you booked online, you have to be make the changes online, if you booked through a third party, your changes have to be made through that third part, and if you booked with the airline you have to contact the airline to make changes. Passengers are allowed to make changes in dates, time, meals, seats etc. with a fee 2 hours before departure.
If passengers have to make changes due to extenuating circumstances like death in a family, judicial order, medical issues, government order etc., change fee may be waived off provided that the necessary documents in question are given by the passenger.
If your original booking fare is lower than the new changed booking, you shall pay the fare difference along with change fee according to your fare rules. And if the newly changed booking has a lesser fare amount than the original booking there will be no refund.
When it comes to name change or correction, Aer Lingus allows minor name correction for example, spelling correction but the airline doesn’t allow for total name change. You cannot change the whole name which means selling it to someone else. Your name should be at least verified by your other Identity cards and you may be charged a penalty to correct a name.
Aer Lingus Cancellation Policy
Aer Lingus provides free cancellation for 24 hours within booking regardless of fare rules provided that it is 7 days or more away from the departure date. It doesn’t matter whether it is a refundable or non-refundable booking, as long as you fall under the free cancellation time frame, you are entitled for a cancelation without any charge.
If you cancel after 24 hours after booking, there will be a cancellation penalty charged to you. And if your booking is of refundable type, your remaining value of booking will be refunded to you after deducting the cancellation fee.
Passengers are requested to make their cancellation before 2 hours of their departure. If not, your value of the booking will be forfeited and you shall not get a refund except the taxes. Passenger’s cancellation fee is determined by the fare rule/type and admission fee if applicable.

Aer Lingus Pet Policy
If you have a pet you would like to take with you inflight, you need to inform and get permission from the airline. There are limited seats for pets, so it’s best if you contact them as soon as your booking is confirmed.
Passengers are allowed to take small dogs or cats with proper certificate of it being vaccinated and proven healthy to be flown. Passenger’s pet animal must be inside the kennels at all times and it should be in a comfortable and strong cage with enough space for the pet top stand or lie. The maximum measurement of the pet’s carrier is 53 cm in height, 56cm in width and 127cm in length. And animal that doesn’t fit that will not be allowed to board.
Passengers also need to sign a consent form stating that he/she is fine with their pet being flown and any consequences thereafter.
