Korean Air is the biggest airline of South Korea which was established on March 1, 1969 and it is also the flag bearer of the country of South Korea serving more than 150 destinations everyday. Their main base is at Gonghang-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul city of South Korea.

Korean Air just completed its service of 50 years recently in 2019. They are aiming and striving to serve the people in much longer terms while their core values being the safety and customer satisfaction of the passengers.
The Korean Air being advanced in its system provides the different types of web check-in to fit the circumstances and situations of its passengers and customers and to do it in the comfort of their home or wherever they are as well. The different types of check-in are as follows:
It is one of the most updated and advanced methods of check-in which is being automated and does not require to be checked-in by the passenger itself. After opting for automated check-in service the process of your check-in will be updated and be completed by itself 24 hours prior to the time of your scheduled departure.
Your boarding pass can be received when the online boarding pass is opened for the issuance at the airport. In order to check-in through the automated check-in service, the passenger will be required to enter their reference id or confirmation number and the date of the flight and their first, middle and last name.
The service is being open from the time your final payment is done upto 48 hours before the time of your scheduled departure. All the passengers with a purchased ticket are eligible for an automated check-in service. There are some ineligibility criterias as well for the automated check-in and they are as follows:
When the passenger arrives at the airport and if he/she is with a boarding pass without any baggage to check-in, they can directly head towards the area for departure.
If one is with baggage to check-in. They can go to the ticket counter or the self-service bag drop which is also automated and then head for the area of departure.
When the passenger has to go through security or immigration, you can simply show them your boarding pass to the security agent and the security checkpoint and move ahead.
The passenger can also pass through the immigration screening by presenting their valid passport and the travel documents which are needed.
In case if the passengers prefers to check-in through the web or through the mobile app, they can do so online. This gives the advantage to the passengers to avoid long lines and queues at the airport counter .
If the passenger intends to check-in through their website then he/she can go to the official website of Korean Air and if intends to do it through the mobile app, first it is required to download the app, then search for the option of check-in.
Once the option for check-in, he/she can enter the required credentials such as their reference id or confirmation number and the date of departure, their first,middle and last name and search for their flight to check-in.
They can check-in and add to check-in for their baggage and pay for it if required.
For domestic flight the time for online check-in is open from 48 hours to 30 minutes prior to the time of their scheduled departure. For International flights it is open from 48 hours to 1 hour prior from the time of their scheduled departure.
In most of the Korean Airports where Korean Air provides their services, the self-help kiosk desks are available as it is one of the most convenient and easiest way to check-in for the passenger4 without any hassle.
When one is at the kiosk desk, the passenger simply needs to put in some required details or scan their boarding pass if they have it in the form of eTicket on their mobile app , their passport, any other accepted travel document or on their mobile app in order to confirm their reservation and check-in.
You can simply print your boarding pass and check-in through one of the airport staff or agents available at the kiosk desks. The passenger is required to check-in at the kiosk desk at least 1 hour prior for international flights and 30 minutes prior for domestic flights before the time of their scheduled departure.
