Best time to visit Destin Florida

Because the ocean is warm, the temperatures are agreeable, and the sun is shining, the months of April and May are great for visiting Destin. The temperature will be cooler and the water will be colder if you arrive sooner.

A summer vacation will put you in the midst of the crowds and the highest prices. Although late summer and early fall are popular times to visit, the weather can be hot and humid, with rain. Summer highs reach the high 80s, while winter temperatures range from the low 40s to the mid-60s. Some visitors come during the winter offseason when rates are lower, but they lose out on some of the area’s most popular activities.
