We make plans all the time but sometimes, it doesn’t go as planned. We might have some travel plans  but unforeseen things happen now and then which hamper our plans, eventually compelling us to change or cancel our plans altogether. Elite Airways understand the uncertainty of plans and therefore have given options to passengers to change or cancel their flight. The airline’s cancellation policy has been mentioned under. Passengers are requested to read this and be aware of the policy before booking or changing or cancelling. That way, you will be aware of the processes that you need to follow.


Elite Airways allows free cancellation for 24 hours within booking regardless of fare rules. Upon cancelling you will get a credit equally worth the amount you paid for your ticket and it will be valid for 1 year from the ticket issuance date. You can use this in your future booking of flight, choosing seat, meals, any service request, etc.

But please note that Elite Airways do not compensate for tickets booked through a third party.


If a passenger canceled it after 24 hours from booking, he/she will not be eligible to get a full credit.

And passengers are allowed to make cancellations till 24 hours before departure to get a credit/voucher after deducting the cancellation fee. The credit can be used for future use which will be valid for a year. If they fail to cancel your reservation 24 hours before departure, their tickets will be forfeited and they will not be able to get a refund or a voucher/credit.  In other words, no credit is given to passengers by the airline if passengers don’t cancel their flight 24 hours before departure.


If the airline delays or cancels your flight for any reason, you will be given an alternative to fly another time and it is up to the traveler to accept or reject that. One can choose to cancel and accept compensation instead for the flight he didn’t take. If your ticket is solely unused, you will get the amount you paid for your ticket minus the ticketing fee if there is any. If your ticket is partially used, you will get reimbursed accordingly.

Elite Airways compensate as much as 600 Euros depending on the fare type, reason, hours of the delay and cancellation.

In a case like this, the airline can name some factual situation as the reason for cancellation. For instance, there can be natural calamity, state emergency, security concerns, operation failure, lack of passengers, issues with the pilots, mechanical error, etc.


If passengers have to make cancellations due to extenuating circumstances like a death in a family, medical issues, judicial order, government order, etc., the airline will try their best to be considerate and be understanding towards the passenger. Hence, passengers may not be charged a change or cancellation fee. It may be waived off provided that the necessary documents in question asked by the airline are given by the passenger.


If any passenger fails to cancel before the departure time regardless of the fare type, they will be marked as a no-show. No passenger is eligible for a voucher/credit if they are marked as a no-show. The whole value of the ticket will be forfeited and you shall not get anything. So, passengers are kindly requested to make sure to change or cancel it before your departure date and time based on your fare time.

The airline is very strict with its no-show policy.


Elite Airways allows eligible passengers to request for a refund in the way it was booked. If a passenger makes their booking with a third party, that passenger is requested to contact the third party for the refund and if you make your booking with the airline directly, you are suggested to contact the airline for the refund.

Refund amount will depend upon the fare type, time and date of cancelling, etc.  Please be informed that airport and security taxes are refundable to all types of fares. However, service charges are not refundable.  

If there is any refund owed to you by the airline, the latter will make the refund to your account with which you booked with. It normally takes a few business days but passengers are requested to be patient with the airline if there is any delay. There may be a delay now and then because of the large number of passengers calling in to cancel their booking for a refund all because of the pandemic.


Passengers can make cancellations in a few ways. Passengers can cancel their ticket by themselves online on the airline’s official website and app. However, if for any reason you cannot do so, you can directly contact the airline to cancel your reservation. If you previously booked your reservation with a third party, you need to contact the third party to cancel your reservation.

-“My Trip”/ “My Booking”

-Select the ticket you wish to cancel

-Press on cancellation

-Reconfirm the cancellation of ticket

-After your trip is canceled, you can claim a refund if you are eligible

If you are eligible for a refund, you will get it in 7-10 business days according to your mode of payment and to the account with which you paid for your flight.

Call XXXXXXXXXXXX to cancel a booking. Upon calling, you will need to provide your confirmation code, first name and last name to verify your reservation. After the verification you can request for cancellation of the ticket you wish to cancel and if you are not aware if you are eligible for a refund or not, you can ask them there itself.
