But we need not worry, Breeze Airways is here to accommodate us with our request to change or cancel our flights with ease depending on Breeze airways cancellation policy


Breeze Airways allows free cancellation for 24 hours within booking regardless of fare rules given that the departure date is 7 days away. If you follow this, you will be eligible to get a full refund.

This 24-hour free cancellation policy will not apply for

-frequent flyer

-those who booked a reservation with BreezePoints

-group booking



Passengers are allowed to cancel until 15 minutes before departure. Anyone who canceled a flight after 24 hours from booking will not be eligible to get a full refund.

If you are eligible for a refund, you might get a cash refund or a credit based on your fare type and departure date. You will get the same after deducting the cancellation fee. And in case of a credit, you can use that in your future booking, seats, meals, etc. It will be valid for 24 months from the issuance date. Breeze Airways doesn’t have a refundable booking, they only give non-refundable tickets.


If passengers fail to cancel before the time of departure irrespective of the fare type, they’ll be marked as a no-show. A passenger who is marked as a no-show is not eligible for compensation. The entire value of the ticket will be forfeited and you will not be able to get anything so, please ensure to cancel it before your departure date.


 Please be informed that there is a fee of 45 USD as a service charge for the cancellation of the flight. And there is a separate cancellation fee depending on the fare type as mention under:

*Breeze Basic- Within the United States there will be a cancellation fee of 150 USD.

 For same-day confirmed change, there will be a fee of 100 USD.

*Breeze Basic and Breeze Plus- No cancellation fee.

For same-day confirmed change, there will be a fee of 100 USD.                      


 If a passenger is canceling because of any extenuating circumstances like a death in a family, sickness, any medical issues, judicial order, strikes, government order, etc., there will be no cancellation fee charged to him/her. The passenger only has got to give the documents which the airline will ask as proof.


 If the airline cancels any passenger’s flight for any reason, the airline will make a schedule change for the passenger and it is totally up to the passenger to accept that or not. They can choose to accept the schedule change or ask for a refund/credit instead.

If a passenger asks for a refund, there shall be a full refund and I will be processed in 7 business days.

In a case like this, the airline can name some factual situations as the reason for cancellation. For instance, there can be a natural calamity, state emergency, security concerns, operation failure, lack of passengers, issues with the pilots, mechanical error, etc.

Passengers who have certain criteria will be able to get a compensation of 300 USD per passenger for any canceled booking. The criteria are:

-If there is a flight delay of more than 5 hours

-if passenger’s flight originate from originates from the United States

-if it is not because of extenuating circumstances


If there is any delay in a passenger’s flight, the airline will let the passenger know about it through email or SMS on their registered contact number.

If a passenger’s flight is delayed for more than 5 hours, he/she can ask the airline the reason behind it and thereafter ask for compensation.


Passengers can cancel their flights in some ways. On the airline’s official website or app, you can cancel it.
You can either contact the airline’s reservation staff to have it canceled for you or just cancel it through the third party with whom you made your reservation.

If a passenger wishes to cancel their reservation online or via the app, we recommend that they take these steps:

-First of all, log in

-You may skip the log in process if you have the airline account already

-Then select “My Trip” or “My Booking” from the drop-down menu.

-Choose the reservation that you want to cancel from the available reservations

-Press on cancellation

-Confirm your ticket cancellation from the pop–up message by clicking on “Yes”

-After your trip is canceled, you can claim a refund if you are eligible

If you are entitled to a refund, it will be processed within 7-10 business days, depending on your payment method and the account used to pay for your ticket.

If you are canceling by calling the airline, you need to call their official phone number or 18006634872. You will be asked by the airline’s agent for your confirmation code, first name, and last name to verify your reservation. And you can request the reservation team’s agent to cancel certain flights for you.

And while you are at it, you may simply check with them if your booking is eligible for a refund. You can ask them any questions you have about your ticket.

Since the airline allows their passengers to cancel their flight until 15 minutes before departure, you can also cancel at the airport. For this, you can approach the Breeze Airways flight cancellation counter and request them to make a cancellation for you.

You will be asked for the 13-digit ticket number. While trying to make the cancellation for you, the airline agent at the counter will let you know if your ticket is eligible for a refund or not.
