policies:
Delta Airlines 24 Hours Risk Free Cancellation Policy
Delta Airlines offers a convenient 24 Hour cancellation policy to all its passengers, wherein flight
ticket cancellations for any class made on the company’s website or mobile app will see a full
complete refund, which will also include all prepaid fees with no additional cancellation fees
charged. The complete refund will be reverted back to the passenger’s original mode of payment.
Steps:
1) “Log-In” or “Find My Trip” from the official website at www.delta.com
2) Select the trip you wish to cancel
3) ‘’Cancel Trip” by following the mentioned steps
4) Refund will be processed back to your original mode of payment
To avail of this benefit, cancellations have to be made by midnight (00:00) of the day after the booking
of the tickets or departure of the first slated flight or whichever comes first.
In case of multiple flight or itinerary flights, cancellations have to be made before the scheduled departure of the first flight.
This offer can be availed only through e-Tickets through Delta Ticket Offices or Airport Ticket
Counters, Reservation Sales or at our official website at www.delta.com.
This offer does not apply to bookings made off of travel agencies, paper tickets or partially-flown
reissued tickets.

Delta Airlines Basic Economy Ticket Cancellation Policy
In-case the passenger wishes to withdraw or cancel their Basic Economy Ticket they can opt for a
refund, if the cancellation is requested within 24 hours of the booking of the ticket; with no additional
cancellation charges.
Beyond 24 hours, purchase of Basic Economy Tickets are considered as final and under no
circumstances are passengers entitled to e-Credit or refunds upon Cancellation.
Delta Airlines Cancellation Policy for Non-Refundable Tickets
In case the passenger opts for cancellation of a non-refundable ticket, a cancellation fee maybe
levied in some instances from the original cost of the flight.
The remaining value after deduction of the cancellation fee (if any) will be provided to the passenger as an e-Credit that the passenger can use in the
future to put forward to booking another flight.
Note: All cancellations and changes for Non-Refundable Tickets have to be made affirmatively before
departure, in the eventuality of non-compliance or inability, tickets will have no remaining value after
cancellation.

In case of significant delays or cancellations posed from the side of Delta Airlines, the passenger may
be accommodated for an alternate flight or an e-Credit to book future flights with the company. The
passenger may in some applicable instances be followed up with a refund on request of unused
portions of the Non-Refundable Ticket.
In-case of cancellation or major delay for an upcoming trip on part of the Delta Airlines you can also
file for a refund which will be then reverted to the passenger’s original form of payment.
Delta Airlines Cancellation Policy for Refundable Tickets
In-case of cancellation of a refundable ticket, the passenger can opt for a refund, provided that it has
been changed or cancelled before the departure of the flight. The refund will be transferred back to
the passenger’s original mode of payment.

1) “Log-In” or “Find My Trip” from the official site at www.delta.com
2) Select the trip you wish to cancel or modify
3) Click the “Start Flight Cancellation” option
4) Cancel the trip
The passenger can also opt for a refund of unused trip purchases like Wi-Fi, Sky-Priority Boarding
etc. however not all amenities are refundable, see terms of individual amenities for more details.

*customers who are eligible for the 24-hour Risk-Free Cancellation Period automatically by purchasing an eTicket originating from the United States and are provided a full day to change or get a refund for the
complete amount – including add-ons and pre-paid fees included in the total fare – without any
cancellation charges.
No Show Policy
In case of change of travel plans, cancellation or changes can be made in “My Trips” or the Fly Delta
App before flight departure to retain value of the ticket.
Tickets purchased by passengers after 31st
March 2021 who have not make necessary changes or canceled trips prior to the flight’s departure
will lose the value of the ticket alongside all remaining flights in the itinerary. Also, note that Basic
Economy Tickets are final and are not changeable nor refundable.
Cancellation Fees
Cancellation Fees will be charged from $200 onwards depending on the itinerary (subject to changethe applicable fare will be listed on the Fare Rules for your ticket) wherein the remaining value of the
ticket will be refunded as e-Credit back to the passenger, which can be used by passengers to make
future bookings. Expiration of refunded e-Credit will be on the basis of the original ticket including
any applicable waivers.
Cancellation Fees will not be charged in the following bookings:
1) Delta flights tickets that have been booked for travel within the U.S, Puerto Rico and USVI
after 31st August 2021
2) Delta flight tickets for travelling that have its origin country from North America to anywhere
in the world booked after December 9th 2020 (including all flights in operation through jointventures and code share partners)
3) Delta flight tickets for trips between the Caribbean, the U.S or Mexico
