Miami International Airport

Miami International Airport (IATA: MIA) and previously known as Wilcox Field is the major International Airport of Miami which is serving the city of Miami, Florida, United States.

They operate and provide their services to over 167 domestic and international destinations.It is also the main airport of long hauls for interconnecting flights mostly for the Southeastern parts of the United States which carries both passengers and cargo throughout America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

It is also considered as the largest hub for getaways from the United States and south to Caribbean and Latin America. It is the busiest airport in Florida in terms of total traffic of cargo and total operations of aircraft.

It also ranks as the second busiest after Orlando when it comes to traffic for total passengers. The Miami airport is the third largest hub for American Airlines. They also provide primary services to Frontier, LATAM and Avianca Airlines for cargo and as well as passenger operation.

The Miami Airport has three terminals which are categorised as South, Central and North with 131 gates from 6 concourses. Except concourse G, all the other concourses contain gates which facilitate access for US Customs and Border Protection.

Concourse D & E gives operation to three American Admirals Club and flagship lounge. Various other clubs and lounges are there as well inside the airport which also includes an American Express Centurion Lounge which is located at Concourse D.

Under Concourse D, it includes 51 gates.
Under Concourse E, it includes 18 gates.
Under Concourse F, it includes 19 gates.
Under Concourse G, it includes 14 gates.
Under Concourse H, it includes 13 gates.
Under Concourse J , it contains 15 gates.

Miami International Airport provides the facility and operation of MIA Mover which is a system to move people free of cost to carry the passengers across MIA terminals and Miami Intermodal Center. To get to Miami International Airport one get use the direct transit service for public which is to and fro Miami- Dade Transit’s Metrorail, Greyhound Bus lines, Metrobus network and also to Tri-Rail commuter rail system. The Metrorail which operates the Orange Line from Miami International Airport goes to different destinations such as Gables, Dadeland, Hialeah, South Miami, Civic Center, Coconut Grove, Coral, Downtown, Brickell and Wynwood

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (IATA:FLL) is a major airport for the public which is situated in Broward County, Florida, United States which is one of the three airports that serves the Metropolitan area of Miami.

They provide their service daily with more than 700 flights daily to more than 135 destinations for both domestic and international. It also serves as a main airport for Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton areas,Pompano Beach , Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and west palm Beach.

It is also the main south Florida airport and base for Southwest Airlines. Fort Lauderdale is a member of the US Federal Aviation Administration.It has two runaways . It has four terminals which include 66 gates.

Terminal 1 which is also called the Yellow Terminal includes 3 concourses A, B & C with 23 gates. Concourse A is mostly used and served for International Passengers. United Airlines maintains a club called the United club at Concourse C. Out of all the four concourses the one which is most often used by Southwest Airlines is Concourse B.
Terminal 2 which is also called the Red Terminal includes Concourse D and has 9 gates. A club known as the Sky Club is being operated here by Delta Airlines. Recently it is undergoing renovation which will cost around $100 million.
Terminal 3 which is also called the Purple Terminal includes Concourse E & F along with 20 gates and which also serves as the main base for operation of Jetblue Airways. In this area for the terminal there is a small food court which serves passengers with dishes.
Terminal 4 which is also called the Green Terminal includes Concourse G along with 14 gates and serves as the operating base for Spirit Airlines

The airport is situated close to the Fort Lauderdale or Hollywood International Airport at the Dania Beach Train Station, which is in service by Tri-Rail commuter trains and Amtrak Intercity trains.

The terminals can be accessed by Route 1 of US and other roads which are major that are near the airport are Florida State Road 818, Interstate 595 and Interstate 95. At Route one it also includes an underpass which is under Runway 10R /28L. In order to access the airport one can use taxis and cabs or share rides.

Palm Beach International Airport

Palm Beach International Airport (IATA:PBI) is an airport for the public which is located in Palm Beach County, Florida which is at the West City of West Palm Beach, Florida, United States.

It is also the main airport which serves the area And also other areas such as Boynton Beach, Jupiter, Wellington, Delray Beach and also some of the visitors of Boca Raton. It also ranks as the third busiest airport after the two airports which are Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale- Hollywood International Airport.

The airport is being operated by Palm Beach County’s Department of Airports. In order to get to the airport one can access the road by 1-95, Southern Boulevard and Congress Avenue. The airport offers three runaways. The airport has three Concourses.

Concourse A includes Bahamasair and Silver Airways.
Concourse B includes Air Canada, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines and Sun Country Airlines.
Concourse C includes Jetblue Airways, Spirit Airlines, Frontier and Delta Airlines.
